BAD SECTOR adalah sebuah ketakutan yang dapat membuat tidak tidur semalaman karena masalah Hard Drive terkena kerusakan. BAD SECTOR adalah kerusakan pada sektor didalam Hard Disk. Hal ini bisa disebabkan banyak hal seperti putaran Hard Disk berhenti tiba-tiba karena pemutusan listrik, terjadi goncangan seperti terjatuh, atau bisa juga karena benda magnetis yang lebih kuat berada disekitar Hard Disk.

Adapun penyebabnya adalah Hard Disk terjatuh atau terguncang secara kuat, karena Head pembaca lemah, dan terkena benda magnetis yang telalu kuat, hingga mengakibatkan permukaan piringan Hard Disk tergores atau rusak akibat hal diatas tersebut.

Kebetulan saya sendiri merupakan salah satu pengguna KIS, jadi pada saat dirilisnya KIS 2012 ini, saya langsung download dan mencoba kehebatan KIS 2012 ini.
